Continuous travel insurance for travel within Finland
Our continuous travel insurance is valid automatically whenever you travel abroad for less than 45 days. Continuous travel insurance can be customised to also cover travel within Finland. For longer trips, you can choose a travel time of 90 or 120 days.
What is covered by travel insurance for travel within Finland
You can customise your continuous traveller's insurance to cover personal injuries, such as the costs of an illness or accident during travel. Optionally, you can also protect your luggage by including luggage insurance, which covers broken, lost or stolen property, for example.

What is not covered by travel insurance for travel within Finland?
Travel insurance for travel within Finland is not valid everywhere in the country. The following restrictions apply to insurance cover:
- The insurance does not cover losses that occur less than 50 kilometres from your home, place of work or study or holiday home.
- The insurance does not cover losses that occur during travel between these locations
Pohjola Health Advisor at your assistance in domestic travel
By insuring your travels within Finland with Pohjola Travel Insurance, you also have access to the Pohjola Health Advisor service. In the event of an illness or injury, you can contact the Health Advisor by phone or with a chat message in the Pohjola Health Advisor app. The Health Advisor will evaluate your symptoms and, if necessary, refer you directly to appropriate treatment. As our customer, the service is free of charge to you.
What other insurance covers travel within Finland?
If you only want to protect yourself against illness and injury, you do not necessarily need separate travel insurance when travelling within Finland. If you have taken out health insurance for yourself, the insurance is valid throughout the country. This means that the insurance is also valid when you are at home, in your place of work or study, or holiday home.
