Eurooppalainen Insurance Company Ltd has merged into Pohjola Insurance Ltd on 1 November 2019. The goal of the change is to simplify the corporate structure and ensure that we conform to the requirements of the regulation.
In practice, the change means that you will get your travel insurance from Pohjola Insurance Ltd in the future. You do not need to do anything, and the rebranding will not affect the content, terms or services of our insurance contracts. The only thing that is changing is the name of your insurer.
We will send you all our current travel insurance customers a new travel insurance card in October–December 2019. The new card will replace the previous Eurooppalainen insurance card. OP’s banking customers will also get a new travel insurance card for OP-mobile.
