The OP-Alternative Portfolio special common fund has drawn a lot of interest among our investor clients since its launch in September 2020. During its first year of operation the fund size has already reached about 400. This fund investing in alternative investments has offered a good alternative to the investor, in addition to the traditional stock and fixed-income markets.
As a responsible asset manager, we want to ensure that the fund’s capital is invested profitably. For that reason, we will close the fund for subscriptions for a fixed period from 1 October to 31 December 2021. This measure is taken, above all, to protect the current unitholders’ returns. The fund will continue to invest normally; we will make the already planned investments and prepare for new future investments.
Fund redemptions will be performed as usual. The closing of the fund for subscriptions means that the OP-Life Alternative Portfolio investment basket meant for saving through insurance will also be closed until 31 December 2021.
