One of the world’s most distinguished banking and finance magazines, Euromoney, publishes its survey on Private Banking services every year. In this survey, representatives of private banking assess each other based on financial indicators and by comparing products and services.

We are on the right track – our investments in customer service, product range and competence development are bearing fruit, says Kai Kalajainen, director in charge of private and SME customers’ wealth management at OP’s Retail Banking.
In addition to the Best Private Banking Services Overall category, OP was ranked the best Finnish player in four other categories. OP won the Investment Management subcategory and got three other special recognitions in the subcategories for Super Affluent Clients (wealth of USD 1–5 million), Ultra High Net Worth Clients (wealth of USD 30–250 million) and Serving Business Owners.
This award makes us proud and warms our hearts. We have achieved it in a business environment where regulation is tightening and competition for investor clients is fierce. This challenges us to further develop our operations in the constantly changing financial services environment, says Tuomas Virtala, Head of Asset Management for Corporate and Institutional Customers at OP Corporate Bank.
