Please avoid visits to branches

Many pensions and Kela’s allowances are paid around the turn of the month. For some of our customers it’s necessary to visit our bank branch during that time. If possible, please avoid visiting our branches especially around the turn of the month. During this exceptional situation, it’s very important that you visit a branch only if you can’t use other service channels.

Help your friends and family do transactions without coming to branch

Please help your friends and family and make sure together with them that all their payments will be made in some other way than by visiting the bank branch. Regular bills can be converted into direct payments which are free of charge. Direct payment means that the bill will be automatically paid on time, using the correct payment details. If using a direct payment is not possible, a payment envelope is another method. In that case, please make sure that the person you’re helping has enough payment envelopes for coming payments. You can go to any OP cooperative bank branch and get payment envelopes for the person.

For those who don’t yet have a payment card, now is a good moment to get one. Please make sure that your friends and family members have the possibility to withdraw cash without visiting a bank branch. If they don’t have OP eServices user identifiers, they can order a card by calling our customer service. A payment card allows its user to withdraw cash from ATMs, K Group stores, Tokmanni stores, R-kioski stores and Neste service stations.

We have a dedicated phone line for people who need special support with making daily payments. These persons or their friends and family can call us at 010 252 9627, available Mon–Fri 9–16. The line is open for the time being. The service is available in Finnish.

The call charge of number 010 252 9627 from land-line phones and Finnish mobile subscriptions €0.0835 per call + €0.167 per minute (VAT included).

Did you know that you can handle most banking and insurance issues online? You can use our app OP-mobile in English or log into op.fi (in Finnish for private customers). To help you, we have compiled instructions and answers to frequently asked questions. Signing agreements is possible in our Electronic Signature Service. We can have meetings with you over the phone. If you can’t find an answer to an urgent problem, please call us so we can tell you whether visiting a bank branch is necessary.
