Mergers of OP Fund Management Company’s funds

The OP-America Fund will be merged into the OP-America Low Volatility Fund and the OP-Europe Plus Fund into the OP-Europe Low Volatility Fund.

OP Fund Management is developing its fund range and aims to reduce the number of similar funds. These mergers will eliminate overlaps in our fund range and provide the unitholders of the merging funds with investment instruments that we consider to have potential for better returns in the long term. As a result of the mergers, the ongoing charges of the merging funds will decrease significantly.

Both mergers will take place on 11 February 2021. These mergers will not require any action on the part of unitholders.

The acquiring funds place emphasis on companies with moderate fluctuations in value. The relative return prospects of potential investments are assessed as mainly based on volatility, but also on metrics such as profitability, balance sheet structure, and historical returns and risk.
