Check your further confirmation phone number

The legislation on payment services will change considerably this year. OP customers will see the new legislation as changes in identification procedures and confirming payments. Please make sure that your customer information is up to date and that you have linked a further confirmation phone number to your user ID. You can have the same phone number under further confirmation phone number and mobile phone number.
 
In future, a key code alone will no longer be sufficient for using the op.fi service. In connection with login and payments, identification with a key code will be supplemented with an SMS sent to your further confirmation phone number when necessary. When you receive a confirmation request as an SMS to your phone, make sure that the details are the same as in the transaction you have made yourself. Then confirm your identification by entering the key code that matches the number you received in the SMS. Please note that in addition to the key code list, you’ll need a device that can receive SMSs and whose number you indicate as your further confirmation phone number linked to your user ID. Receiving confirmation SMSs is free of charge for you, and you shouldn’t reply to these SMSs.

How to check and link your further confirmation phone number:
 
  • Private customers: Log into op.fi in Finnish and go to Oma profiili (My profile) > Omat tietoni (My details). Alternatively, you can call OP Customer Service at 0100 0500 or contact your OP cooperative bank branch.
