Authentication at op.fi will change – check your further confirmation number

Legislation governing payment services will change considerably. For corporate customers, this will mean changes in login, authentication and confirmation of payments at op.fi. In the future, using the op.fi service requires that you have linked a further confirmation number to your user ID.

You will still log into the service using your user name, password and key code list, but your authentication will, if required, be complemented by SMS. SMSes will also become part of the acceptance of payments. 

SMSes will be sent to your further confirmation number that is your personal phone number linked to your user ID and is in your use.

Whom the change concerns

If your company has an OP eServices Agreement for small corporate and institutional customers, the change will concern all users doing the company’s transactions at op.fi.

If your company has a Corporate eServices agreement, the changes will only concern you, if:
  • you use your Corporate eServices user ID and you have right of access to your company’s Accounts and payments or to File transfer services or
  • you use your personal OP eServices user ID for private customers to do transactions for your company. 

How to check your further confirmation number

In order for us to be able to send you SMSes related to authentication and payment confirmation, your further confirmation number must be up to date.

If you use a user ID for Corporate eServices:

  • If you wish to check your further confirmation number, you will find it under Asetukset (Settings) > Vahvistaminen ja laitteet (Confirmation and devices) > Lisävahvistusnumeron hallinta (Managing further confirmation number).

If you use a user ID for OP eServices for private customers:

  • If you use your personal OP eServices user ID for doing transactions for your company, log into OP eServices for private customers and check your further confirmation number in Oma profiili (My profile) > Omat tietoni (My details). 

If the number is no longer in use, you can remove the old number by calling OP telephone service at 0100 05151 (Mon–Fri at 8.00–18.00, local network charge/mobile charge). After this, you can add your phone number yourself on the op.fi service or at a bank branch.
