Employee benefits and remuneration at OP Pohjola
At OP Pohjola, total remuneration is more than a competitive salary – it’s a comprehensive model that supports everyday life, fosters development, and evolves with our people.

Employee benefits
At OP Pohjola, our employees get diverse benefits with monetary value that they can use for our own products and services – such as insurance policies, banking services and asset management. In addition to these, we offer a wide range of employee benefits that support wellbeing, health, leisure time and the workplace community spirit.
Employee benefits are an important part of our employee experience, and they are designed to support daily lives in a comprehensive way.
It is good to note that the companies within OP Pohjola make independent decisions on their benefits every year – that is why the best way to learn about the benefits currently in use at the workplace in question is during the recruitment process.
Examples of our employee benefits include:
Free of charge daily services package for banking and a loan granted to employees on special terms
Discounts on insurance for home and family and life insurance
Benefits for saving through insurance, asset management, car financing and real estate agency services
Extensive occupational health services, health insurance and accident insurance that also covers leisure time
Lunch benefit
Sports, culture, wellbeing and commuting benefit as chosen
Opportunity for holidays at timeshare resorts all over Finland
Events for the entire work community and employee clubs
Recognition of special days, birthdays and long careers

Financial remuneration
At OP Pohjola, remuneration is our way to show appreciation and support the wellbeing and success of every employee. Our pay is based on the job grade, competence and personal performance, but making the successes of teams and individuals visible is just as important to us.
We want to provide an inspiring environment where employees can build a long and meaningful career. Our remuneration is fair and transparent and it supports common goals and personal successes.
Forms of monetary remuneration:
Basic pay
Basic pay is determined by job grade, personal competencies, experience and performance.
Personnel fund
The personnel fund supports the implementation of OP Pohjola's strategy and motivates employees to achieve company-level targets. The personnel fund has targets, which are common to all employees.
Performance-based bonus
A performance-based bonus guides and supports the realisation of the goals laid out in OP Pohjola's strategy and the company's annual plan.
We are continuously developing remuneration so that it supports customer experience and competent and inspired personnel. To support our decision-making, we use reference materials and pay statistics to keep the whole package competitive and fair.
