OP Kainuu Free Admission to the Riihipiha Peasant Museum

OP Kainuu offers free admission for everyone to the local Riihipiha Peasant Museum. Free admission for children and adults is valid during the periods June 26–July 11, 2025 and July 16–August 10, 2025. The museum area is open until August 10, 2025, Wednesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. The privately curated peasant museum in Vuolijoki village aims to collect, preserve, and showcase the rural courtyard and its activities in Kainuu as they were before the widespread use of electricity. Riihipiha features 35 numbered buildings and around 4,000 items that tell the story of life in Vuolijoki and Kainuu through past generations.
