OP Uusimaa's new trainee programme offers students in the later stages of their university studies and recent graduates the opportunity to start their careers in genuine, permanent specialist roles.

At OP Uusimaa, we want to offer exciting development and career opportunities for aspiring young financial professionals. With us, instead of a fixed-term traineeship, you will have a permanent position working on exciting and demanding specialist tasks.

The traineeship is the first step in your career at OP Uusimaa, during which you will have opportunities for learning, networking and growth with the support of experienced professionals. The goal of the programme is to help aspiring professionals build a solid base of expertise and a long-term career at OP Uusimaa.

All our trainees receive the same monthly salary during the traineeship period of 3200 euros a month. After the traineeship, the salary for each position is determined based on the requirements of the role and the employee's skills and experience. The trainee positions are located in the Uusimaa region. The positions will start on 11 January 2027 and the traineeship ends on 31 August 2027, after which you will continue working in your role.

We are looking for curious, goal-oriented and ambitious future professionals who want to gain a deeper understanding of the financial sector and build a long-term career at OP Uusimaa while helping our customers succeed. We don't expect you to be a fully-fledged expert on your first day at work. Above all, we are looking for individuals with the drive to learn, develop and grow into future professionals.

Permanent position
You will start in a permanent position from your very first day with us. The traineeship is not a fixed-term project but the start of a long-term career at OP Uusimaa.
