OP Uusimaa OP Uusimaa to open a branch in the Aleksanterinkatu 30–34 property
OP Uusimaa has concluded a rental agreement for the Aleksanterinkatu 30–34 property. Aleksanterinkatu 30–34 was originally constructed as a bank building in 1936, and when OP Uusimaa moves to the facilities in summer 2026, it will once again be used for its original purpose.
“We are continuously developing our service network to meet the changing needs of our customers. Uusimaa is a dynamically growing region, and we want to bolster our presence in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, which is seeing increasing demand for services requiring solid competence in the financial sector," says Hannu Ujula, SVP, Head of Customer Service at OP Uusimaa.
A basic renovation will be carried out in the Aleksanterinkatu 30–34 property during autumn 2025 and spring 2026 to modernise the facilities and ensure they meet today's demands.
“Our goal is to open OP Uusimaa's new Aleksanterinkatu branch in summer 2026. A diverse range of banking services will be offered at the branch," says Hannu Ujula.
At the same time, OP Uusimaa will give up its branch on Mikonkatu. OP Uusimaa's branch on Arkadiankatu 23 will remain the bank's head office. The schedules and plans will be further specified during autumn 2025, and customers will be notified of the change in spring 2026.
OP Uusimaa has a total of 18 branches in Espoo, Helsinki, Hyvinkää, Järvenpää, Kerava, Kirkkonummi, Klaukkala, Lohja, Nummela, Porvoo and Vantaa.
