OP Uusimaa OP Uusimaa paid over EUR 25 million in corporate tax
In 2024, OP Uusimaa paid EUR 25.1 million in corporate tax. OP bonuses granted to owner-customers was EUR 71 million.
OP Uusimaa's earnings before tax in 2024 amounted to EUR 222.2 million.
"OP cooperative bank's mission includes supporting the prosperity and wellbeing of its owner-customers and operating region. We are implementing this mission through taxes as well," says Olli Lehtilä, Managing Director of OP Uusimaa.
The total amount of corporate tax paid by OP Pohjola companies in 2024 exceeded EUR 386 million. At the end of 2024, OP Pohjola included 93 OP cooperative banks, the central cooperative and its subsidiaries and affiliates. In 2023, OP Pohjola paid EUR 397 million in corporate tax.
OP Pohjola's earnings before tax in 2024 amounted to EUR 2,486 million.
As Finland's largest financial services group, OP Pohjola is one of the largest payers of corporate tax in Finland, and OP cooperative banks are among the largest payers of corporate tax in several municipalities.
