OP Uusimaa OP Uusimaa overhauling its organisation and operations
OP Uusimaa is starting change negotiations to overhaul the bank's organisation and operating practices. The purpose of the change is to eliminate overlapping operations, improve productivity and customer experience.
"OP Uusimaa has been seeking strong growth and our business has indeed grown and developed in line with our goals. Our new strategy also aims at comprehensive and profitable growth. In order to succeed also in the future, we must reinvent and develop our operations," says Olli Lehtilä, Managing Director of OP Uusimaa.
The goal is to eliminate overlapping operations and to make decision-making, management and daily operations more fluent and efficient.
"This way we ensure the best possible customer experience, profitable growth and profitability and thereby the bank's success in the coming years," says Olli Lehtilä.
These change negotiations concern staff in OP Uusimaa's organisation within Uusimaa. The negotiations may result in a maximum of 70 positions being terminated. At the same time, however about 20 new positions are planned to be created in the new organisation.
The change negotiations do not concern OP Uusimaa's staff in Kuopio, nor the staff of OP Koti Uusimaa.
