OP Uusimaa has reached a conclusion in its change negotiations to overhaul its organisation and operations. In its meeting on 10 November 2025, OP Uusimaa's Board of Directors confirmed the bank's new organisation and measures to overhaul its operations.

On 30 September 2025, OP Uusimaa announced that it has initiated change negotiations to overhaul the bank's organisation and operating practices. The goal is to eliminate overlapping operations and to make decision-making, management and daily operations more fluent and efficient. 

The change negotiations affected OP Uusimaa's entire personnel in the Uusimaa region, approximately 1,100 employees. Initially, it was estimated that the negotiations could lead to termination of up to 70 positions, and simultaneously to the opening of 20 new positions. The outcome of the negotiations is the termination of 68 positions. Some of the employees whose positions will be terminated can be offered a new position in the new organisation. A total of 56 employees are subject to possible redundancy.

The new organisation will take effect on 1 February 2026

OP Uusimaa's new organisation start operating on 1 February 2026. The new organisation will reflect the bank's increased focus on smooth service to customers, regional presence and local accessibility. In future, customer relationships will be managed by three business units, Personal Customers, Corporate and Institutional Customers and Wealth Management Clients.

OP Uusimaa also revises its management team. From 1 February 2026 onwards, the management team will comprise the following members:

The change negotiations did not apply to OP Uusimaa's Customer Service personnel in Kuopio, or the personnel of OP Koti Uusimaa.
