Want to use Mobile key on op.fi? It's possible on 28 January!

From 28 January, you can select Mobile key as your identification method on op.fi. Mobile key will then be available on op.fi alongside the key code list. Soon you will be able to use Mobile key in other services too, such as MyTax and Kela, and for confirming online payments.

Mobile key is an identification method, just like the key code list. With Mobile key, you can log in and confirm payments and transactions on your personal device, using a PIN that you have selected yourself. To use Mobile key in our services, you’ll need a smartphone or tablet, to which you can download OP’s free app: OP-mobile or OP Business mobile.

How to log into op.fi with Mobile key

How to log into op.fi with Mobile key: 1. Select Log in. 2. Select Mobile key as authentication method. 3. Enter your username and select Continue. 4. On your phone or tablet, open OP-mobile or OP Business mobile. 5. If the confirmation request didn't open automatically, tap Confirm with Mobile key. 6. Check the confirmation request details. 7. Confirm by typing your Mobile key PIN. 8. Login succeeded. 9. Do your transactions on op.fi. How to log into op.fi with Mobile key: 1. Select Log in. 2. Select Mobile key as authentication method. 3. Enter your username and select Continue. 4. On your phone or tablet, open OP-mobile or OP Business mobile. 5. If the confirmation request didn't open automatically, tap Confirm with Mobile key. 6. Note that if you are a private customer and want to log into op.fi, the logged-in user’s interface is available only in Finnish and Swedish.

Confirm by typing your Mobile key PIN. 7. Confirmation succeeded. 8. Continue your transactions on op.fi. How to confirm payments and transactions with Mobile key: 1. Mobile key – always with you

Mobile key is always with you on your phone or tablet, and it can’t be copied. It is a secure identification method that now works in logging into and confirming payments and transactions on OP-mobile and OP Business mobile.

Changes to login view

The op.fi login view will change after the inclusion of Mobile key. In the future, you can log into op.fi by using either Mobile key or the key code list.

You can still use the key code list

After this change, you can continue to log in and confirm payments and transactions with the key code list, if you prefer. In that case, select key code list as your identification method. You will then log into op.fi with your username, password and, if needed, an SMS sent to your further confirmation number containing key code information needed for the confirmation. SMS confirmation will not be required every time. When not required, you will log in with your username, password and the key code list.
