Service hours and exceptional payment schedules

On this page, you can find the service hours for our most common payment services on business days (weekdays), and exceptional payment schedules.

Service hours

Service hours i.e. cut-off times for most common services:

OP’s digital services (incl. OP Corporate Hub)
  • OP Financial Group’s internal, real-time credit transfers by 12 midnight
  • Real-time SEPA instant credit transfers by 12 midnight
  • SEPA credit transfers to other financial institutions at the same value date by 14.00
  • SEPA credit transfers by 21.00
  • International payments by 16.50
Banking connection channel for businesses (Web Services) and file transfer in OP's digital services
  • SEPA credit transfers to other financial institutions at the same value date by 14.00
  • SEPA credit transfers and recurring payments (C2B) by 18.00
  • International payments (C2B) by 17.00
  • Real-time POPS express transfers by 16.30 (SEPA instant credit transfers by 12 midnight)
  • Express transfers in file format by 15.00 (SEPA instant credit transfers by 18.00)

Service at branches

According to cashier services opening hours, but no later than:

  • SEPA credit transfers by 21.00
  • International payments by 16.00
  • Real-time POPS express transfers by 16.00
OP Corporate Banking APIs
  • OP Financial Group’s internal, real-time credit transfer by 12 midnight
  • Real-time SEPA instant credit transfers by 12 midnight
  • SEPA credit transfers to other financial institutions at the same value date by 14.00
  • SEPA credit transfers by 21.00
 


Exceptional schedules

There are exceptional payment schedules on public holidays and short business days:

Public holidays

Public holidays falling on business days or weekdays affect payment processing times, thereby causing exceptional payment schedules. The op.fi service, our mobile services and file transfer services are available to you 24/7, even on public holidays, for sending and receiving files, but the files will not be processed until the first business day following the public holiday.

These days are:

  • New Year’s Day on 1 January
  • Epiphany on 6 January
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • May Day on 1 May
  • Ascension Day
  • Midsummer Eve
  • Independence day on 6 December
  • Christmas Eve on 24 December, Christmas Day on 25 December and Boxing Day on 26 December.
Short business days

Maundy Thursday and New Year’s Eve are short business days when international payment files and urgent payments must be available to the bank before the hours below:

  • Outgoing international payments by 12.00
  • Real-time POPS express transfers (excluding SEPA instant credit transfers) by 13.30
  • Urgent payments in file format (CB2) by 12.30


The payment services for corporate customers are available from 8.00 to 13.00 on Maundy Thursday and New Year’s Eve at number 0100 05151.

 


Payments processed all around the year:

  • Real-time payments made in the op.fi service and on our mobile apps.
  • Real-time payments made as Siirto payments.
  • Payments made using the payments API solution.

Real-time SEPA instant credit transfers are recorded immediately to the payee’s account 24/7 (between the banks involved in the service).
