OP Uusimaa Volunteer work

Corporate volunteering is an opportunity to showcase our values and build a sense of community. We also aim to promote the vitality and vibrancy of our region by supporting associations and other non-profit activities. Corporate volunteering offers OP Uusimaa employees the chance to share their expertise outside their organisations. It also enhances their learning and personal development by bringing new experiences and variety to their working day. The goal of such volunteering is to benefit the community: for example, to work on behalf of nature and the environment, or through association or club activities.

Corporate volunteering has been a practical element of our social responsibility work for several years. Our employees have participated in volunteer work in a number of ways. For example, OP Uusimaa employees have weeded invasive species in Lohja, worked for the Hope ry project in Hyvinkää, cared for animals in Helsinki and restored traditional landscapes in Porvoo. We also do a great deal of volunteer work in local sports clubs.

During volunteering days, employees can work alone, with a partner or with their team. In every case, volunteer work benefits Uusimaa's residents and environment.
