MIELI
We support MIELI Mental Health Finland’s ‘Mental Wellbeing for Young Athletes’ project and promote its implementation into Finnish sports together with over 20 Pohjola Insurance sporting partners. This collaboration aims to strengthen the expertise of sports coaches, parents and other people working with youth on supporting the mental wellbeing of young people.

Another priority in this partnership is to emphasise the positive impacts of physical exercise on the wellbeing and health of young people and adults. Additionally, Hippo Säbäkipinä schools for pre-school aged children, part of the Hippo sports schools concept, is included in this partnership. The goal of the Hippo sports schools is to offer children opportunities to try various sports and discover the joy of physical exercise.

The focus is on the Hippo 3x3 basketball schools for primary school pupils.

Together, we organise Hippo Street Tennis tours in nursery and primary schools and Hippo Street Tennis events that are open for all who are interested.

Association for Teachers of History and Social Studies in Finland (HYOL)
With the Association for Teachers of History and Social Studies (HYOL), we enhance the personal finance skills of ninth-graders in the national Financial Literacy Competition and its associated events.
Junior Achievement (JA) Finland
We work with Junior Achievement (JA) Finland to enhance young people’s skills in finance, working life and entrepreneurship. OP Financial Group is involved in the regional semifinals and national final of the ‘Dare to Try’ programme and offers specialist advice for the educational content of the Businesskurssi and Sijoittajakoulu.
Helsinki Deaconess Foundation
The Helsinki Deaconess Foundation coordinates a financial literacy project, Taloustaito, which involves bank employees giving financial literacy classes and one-to-one instruction to disadvantaged young people around the country.
