How to use OP Lasku

User agreement at the online store checkout

Before you can pay by invoice, you need to sign an agreement on the use of invoice the first time you use the service. Signing the agreement takes only a moment.

Payment by invoice and paying in instalments use the same agreement. Payment in instalments is always available to you in case you do not wish to pay the entire amount at once.

You can use OP Lasku for several purchases in different online stores

Payment by invoice is accepted by many online stores. After you have enabled payment by invoice, you can use the payment method in any online store that accepts OP Lasku.

When you make several purchases by OP Lasku, you receive a separate invoice for each purchase.

When you pay in instalments, you receive a single invoice for all purchases paid in instalments. In other words, all purchases you choose to pay in instalments are added on a single monthly invoice.

See invoice details clearly when making purchases

When you make purchases using OP Lasku, you always see the due date, amount and minimum repayment of your invoice. The invoice due date is determined by the purchase date, and the minimum repayment is based on the purchase amount.

You will receive the invoice in your email 14 days before the due date.

You don't have to decide whether to pay in instalments until after you have received the invoice

You can always pay the invoice in full by the due date. If you wish to pay in instalments, you need to pay at least the minimum repayment. You can also pay any sum between the minimum repayment and the invoice total.

If you do not pay the entire invoice by the due date, you pay the remaining amount in instalments with an interest applied to the amount. We will send you monthly invoices for the repayment instalments.

You decide how much you pay monthly

When you pay in instalments, you do not need to select a repayment plan. The remaining amount is shown on the most recent invoice. The maximum repayment period is always 36 months. The minimum repayment is based on this period. Interest is applied to the minimum repayment. In practice, this means that the instalments are larger at first and become smaller over time.

You can always pay more than the minimum monthly repayment. This way, you can pay for your purchase in three instalments, for example. The monthly instalments do not need to be the same amount.
