Mobile key is a personal means of identification

Mobile key comes with OP-mobile or the OP Business mobile app. It enables you to log into OP's digital services quickly, identify yourself when calling our Customer Service, and confirm payments. You can also use it to identify yourself when logging into public services, such as MyKanta or Kela.

Mobile key is easy to use and secure

Mobile key only works on the smartphone or tablet on which you have activated it. We recommend that you lock your smart device with a PIN, fingerprint or face recognition.

You can activate Mobile key on OP-mobile if you have an OP user ID

Mobile key works everywhere – including when you log into the op.fi service on your computer's web browser. During activation, you must choose a 4–8 digit Mobile key PIN, which you will use to identify yourself and confirm transactions.

How to start using Mobile key

To use OP's digital services, you'll need an OP user ID. You can get an OP user ID either from a bank branch or by becoming a customer online.

Children and young people can also use OP-mobile and Mobile key. In addition to OP's digital services, Mobile key can be used for, say, confirming card payments online. With the consent of their guardians, persons over 12 years of age can identify themselves for services that require strong identification, such as Studyinfo, MyKanta and Kela.

If you do not have an OP user ID but are an insurance customer, you can use OP-mobile for insurance matters.

You can use Mobile key to log into the OP-mobile or OP Business mobile app, and to confirm transactions. When identifying yourself to use other digital services based on login with your OP user ID, choose Mobile key as the identification method then confirm the identification with Mobile key in OP-mobile.

What should I do if my phone goes missing?

If your phone goes missing or is stolen, contact the OP Customer Service or OP Deactivation Service immediately. We'll remove Mobile key from your missing device. See our services' contact details.
Reactivate Mobile key on your new phone. If your old phone is found and we have already removed Mobile key, you can use your user ID to reactivate Mobile key on your old phone.
