Product Protection Insurance insures owner-customers’ card purchases
Every now and then accidents happen. You drop your phone or spill coffee on your laptop. Luckily, there's Product Protection. It insures purchases made with OP's credit or debit card for six months or a year, depending on your card.
Product Protection is a cost-free insurance for OP's owner-customers that is automatically included with OP Classic, OP Gold, OP Platinum, or OP Duo cards.
The insurance is valid in all card purchases
The Product Protection insurance is valid whenever you pay for your purchases using OP's credit card with credit or debit features. There's no need for a separate insurance for your new phone, for example.
Product Protection also covers purchases made abroad and in online stores.
The deductible for Product Protection is 75 euros, which is lower than the traditional home insurance deductible. A single purchase can be reimbursed up to 2,000 euros.
The insurance is also valid for supplementary cards when the primary cardholder is an owner-customer.
The insurance cannot be purchased separately.
Product Protection is valid for 180 or 365 days depending on the card
- OP Classic card offers Product Protection for 180 days.
- OP Gold, OP Platinum, and OP Duo cards offer Product Protection for 365 days.
Report an incident if damage occurs
If the product is faulty, contact the seller. If the product breaks for other reasons, seek compensation through the Product Protection insurance.
