Just like normal cars, light quadricycles and their electric alternatives always require statutory motor liability insurance. Motor liability insurance for moped cars covers any injuries sustained by the driver and passengers and their medical expenses as well as any losses incurred by innocent parties.
However, motor liability insurance does not cover damage caused to your own vehicle. You can protect your moped car with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
