The home energy efficiency calculator is a free digital tool for OP customers, which gives you:

• an estimate of your home’s energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
• suggestions for basic renovations and purchases that help you improve your home’s energy efficiency and save in energy costs.
• an estimate of how a renovation to improve energy efficiency would repay itself if you finance it with a loan or your savings.

This is how you use the energy efficiency calculator 

The home energy efficiency calculator is exclusive to OP's customers. If you're already logged into the op.fi service, you can access the calculator via the link. If you haven't yet logged in, the link will first take you to the login page, after which you can access the calculator. The calculator is on our partner Econans AB's website. You don't need to log in separately to the Econans website to use the calculator.

Using the calculator step-by-step

Using the calculator is easy. Entering information about your house or apartment in the calculator only takes a few minutes, after which you will receive an indicative calculation.

1. Log in using your OP user IDs and go to the calculator.
2. Enter information about your home: for example, the size of the living area, year of construction and heating system.
3. You will receive an indicative estimate of your home’s energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. You will also receive suggestions for renovations and purchases that help you improve your home’s energy efficiency.
4. On the results page, you can also estimate how quickly a renovation or purchase would repay itself if you financed it with a loan or your savings.
5. Finally, the calculator will give you information about OP’s loans for renovations or purchases to improve energy efficiency.

You do not need to log in separately to the Econans website to use the calculator. Your personal data and login data will not be forwarded to the energy efficiency calculator’s service provider.
