Customer behaviour in banking has changed – our customers are increasingly using online and mobile services. Visits to OP Helsinki branches have decreased, and an increasing number of customer contacts take place through a video connection or by phone. We are developing our service to better meet our customers’ needs.
The Vallila branch will close as of 30 November 2021, no action required on customers’ part
Customer demand in the Vallila branch has decreased. Customers have transferred to our other branches and service outlets and to our digital services. For this reason, OP Helsinki’s Vallila branch will close as of 30 November 2021. Its services will be merged into OP Helsinki’s Mikonkatu branch. This change will not require any action on customers’ part and account numbers and loan numbers, among others, will remain unchanged. As part of this change, the Vallila branch staff will move to work in our other branches and service outlets.
