There is currently a delay in processing student loan applications. On your student loan application, you are asked to select the loan drawdown method.

If you select separate drawdowns, you make the first drawdown request when applying for the student loan. Processing will take about a week. If a loan is granted, the amount you requested will be placed in your account. Later in the academic year, you can make a drawdown request via OP's chat or digital services.

If you select automatic drawdowns as the drawdown method for your student loan, the loan will be automatically placed in your account – in instalments, as stated in your student financial aid decision, and on the drawdown date specified by Kela or the following weekday after it. Please don't send a separate drawdown request via OP's digital services.
