Send us your national ID

EU regulations require foreigners living permanently in Finland and Finnish dual citizens to submit their national ID to the provider of investment services. However, your customer data lack your national ID, which we need to report on your investments.

This includes the passport number, personal ID code, or tax identification number for your country. 

The easiest way to add your national ID is by logging in at the service or OP-mobile and sending us a message there. When you send us a message, choose “savings and investments” as the topic. Ask in the message what your missing national ID is. Our customer care representative can tell you what your ID is, or what IDs you need to report to us. 

You can ask about your missing national ID in the chat feature of the service or OP-mobile. If you wish, you can also call our Customer Service at 0100 0500 (local/mobile network rate) or visit an OP branch. 

If you do not send us your national ID, your trading will be blocked from 31 March 2023 onwards. After you have submitted your national ID to us, you can trade securities through OP in the future.
