Corporate customers’ loan repayments at the end of the year

The last day of this year is a Sunday. Loan repayments and interest with a due date of 31 December 2023 will be automatically charged from accounts on 2 January 2024. Do as follows, if you would like the loan repayment to be debited before 2023 ends.

If you would like your year-end loan repayment to be debited from your account in 2023, use the op.fi service to pay the instalment in advance by Thursday 28 December 2023

You can pay a repayment-plan instalment in advance on the op.fi service, once a bill has been created for the instalment in question. In the case of housing company loans, bills are created 25 days before the due date; for other types of corporate loan, they are created 8 days before the due date. Do as follows:

  • Select ‘New payment’.
  • Enter the loan number as the payee.
  • Select ‘Payment based on your repayment plan’.

If you use the Web Services channel, do as follows

If you use the Web Services channel and make your loan repayments from an account with an OP cooperative bank, the payment will be recorded in 2023 if you set 28 December 2023 as the due date.

If you want to make an extra repayment, do as follows

You can make an extra repayment for a housing company loan via the op.fi service. Use the New payment feature and enter the loan number as the payee. You can pay the repayment-plan instalment and extra repayment together as a single payment, or as separate payments.
