OP-mobile will open automatically for payment confirmation when using a mobile device for online purchases and you want to pay using your account. Once you have confirmed payment in OP-mobile, you will also be transferred automatically to the online store.
How does it work in practice?
- You are making an online purchase and select OP as your payment method.
- The device will transfer you automatically to OP-mobile.
- Identify yourself with your Mobile key PIN or fingerprint or face recognition. Your username will not be required.
- Check the payment details and confirm the payment with Mobile key.
- You will be automatically transferred back to the online store.
Note the following
Automation between the applications makes online purchases quicker, but always remember to check in which service you are entering your username and that the payment details are correct. Also check that you are using version 75.0.0 or later of OP-mobile to ensure that the automatic transfer takes place.
Not all online stores support the automatic transfer. As a result, you may still have to select the identification method and to enter your username, after which you will receive a confirmation request in OP-mobile.
Both payment of online purchases with a computer and card payments remain unchanged. That is, this change only applies to online store payments with Mobile key.
