OP's popular Saver's funds will now promote sustainability factors in their investments

The OP-Conservative, OP-Moderate and OP-Brave investment funds will now be classified as Article 8 funds in accordance with the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFRD). This means that from now on, the funds' portfolio managers will avoid investing in harmful and controversial industries and take into account risks related to global environmental and social responsibility.

The funds promote environmental and social characteristics by integrating the analysis and monitoring of sustainability factors in their investment process, both at the fund level and by screening the funds' underlying assets. The analysis and monitoring consist of exclusions aimed at limiting exposure to certain industries, as well as the consideration of climate factors and active ownership as part of asset managers' investment processes.

The funds mainly invest in funds that promote environmental and/or social characteristics or whose aim is to invest sustainably.
