OP Uusimaa Associations, apply for Summer Job support by 13 February!

For many young people, their first summer job is a big event. OP Uusimaa is now searching for non-profit associations interested in offering summer jobs to young people aged 15 to 17 during the coming summer. In its ‘Summer jobs paid for by OP’ campaign, OP is providing financial support for associations willing to employ young people for two weeks.

For example, last summer associations employed youngsters as social media reporters, in maintenance tasks, and as assistants at sports and cultural events and summer camps. In return for financial support, the association must employ a young person and fulfil the related employer obligations.

This year, OP Uusimaa will offer funding for the employment of 400 young people. Associations can apply until 13 February. OP will choose which associations receive support and contact all applicant associations by the end of February.

In its ‘Summer jobs paid for by OP’ campaign, OP is providing financial support for associations willing to employ young people for two weeks. The amount of the grant is 500 euros per young person.

The ‘Summer job paid for by OP’ campaign supports the employment of approximately 2,000 young people in non-profit associations across Finland. The campaign promotes the employment of young people, who learn how to manage their finances through their summer jobs. This summer will be the tenth in which OP cooperative banks across Finland give young people the opportunity to learn about working life.

Associations can apply for funding through an OP cooperative bank’s ‘Summer jobs paid for by OP’ campaign from 19 January to 13 February 2026.
