Owner-customer benefits will be renewed

As of 1 January 2026, we will increase OP bonus earnings, the number of products that earn you bonuses will increase, and you can choose how you use your bonuses. The default option is to use them as before – for banking service charges and insurance premiums. You can also invest your bonuses in funds via OP-mobile or take out your bonuses in cash. You will also get the renewed owner-customer benefits.

Product Protection Insurance covers your purchases for 365 days

Product Protection Insurance included in an owner-customer’s OP Duo covers purchases against breakage or theft. In other words, you won’t need to buy separate insurance for new items such as phones. The insurance is valid for 365 days.

Credit card company cover for credit purchases helps if problems occur

Under the Consumer Protection Act, you can apply for a refund from your credit card company if a retailer breaches a sales contract for a purchase made with credit. Product Protection Insurance provides cover for your purchases and is included with owner-customer cards

As an owner-customer, the insurance is valid automatically when paying with using either the credit or debit function..
You won’t need to buy separate insurance for new items, such as phones.
The deductible is only 75 euros, which is less than with a traditional home insurance.

OP Duo is a reliable and international Mastercard.
You can use contactless payment for all card purchases. Purchases of over 50 euros have to be confirmed by entering your PIN in the card reader, but you do not need to insert your card in the reader.

The card is issued by OP Retail Customers Plc which also acts as the policyholder of insurance products included in the card and other additional service’s contract customer. Best Price Protection is issued by the insurance company Inter Partner Assistance SA/AXA. Identity Theft Help is provided by F-Secure. Product Protection Insurance is issued by Pohjola Insurance Ltd.
