Changes to accepted personal ID documents

The change in accepted personal ID documents will take effect on 1 August 2020.

As of 1 August, we will no longer accept the following documents as proof of identity:

  • health insurance card with a photograph (Kela card)
  • cardboard driving licence (issued before 1 October 1990)
  • alien’s passport
  • refugee travel document.

We will discontinue accepting the above-mentioned documents in order to further improve the security of transactions.
