Our bank branches’ teller services have many customer contacts. Using our services must be as safe as possible, especially for people in risk groups. This is why it’s important that all customers who can use our self-service channels – OP-mobile, op.fi (in Finnish for private customers) or payment card – do use them and avoid visiting our branches.
Please note that our customer service is very busy at the moment. Due to the exceptional situation, the waiting times are longer than usual. If your matter is not urgent, please contact us later. Below, we have assembled information relating to our services during this exceptional situation. More detailed information is available on our Coronavirus FAQ page. Please consult these pages before you contact us. Thank you for your understanding.

Savings and investments
The widely spreading coronavirus has shook up stock exchanges around the world. In Finland too, the virus has caused uncertainty among savers and investors. Read more on our page where we update the latest about the effects of the coronavirus on the market situation.
Cards and payment
In payments, we recommend using a card, Pivo or Siirto payment. Because cash goes through several hands, we recommend other payment methods. You can pay bills by using credit transfers, e-invoices or direct payment without visiting a bank branch. To help people in risk groups, you can tell them how to use direct payments.

Loans
For our private and SME customers, we offer the opportunity to postpone their loan repayments if the coronavirus pandemic has affected their repayment capacity. If you need financial relief due to the coronavirus crisis, you can apply for a repayment holiday for your home loan, free of charge for up to 12 months.
As a private customer, you can apply for a change to your loan repayment plan on OP-mobile or at op.fi (in Finnish). Due to the situation, processing applications now takes a longer time than usual. We will process applications in the order of arrival. Once your repayment holiday application has been processed, we will send you a message about it.

As an SME customer, you can apply for a change to your loan repayment plan by contacting your OP cooperative bank. As regards corporate customers, changes in repayment schedules will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and guarantees provided by Finnvera will be used extensively.

We will not charge any separate fees for changes in repayment plans. We recommend that you only apply for a repayment holiday if you need it. Applying for it just in case will increase the waiting and processing times in our loan service.
