As an OP banking customer, in future you will be able to identify yourself electronically when calling our Customer Service about insurance

Electronic identification will be introduced for OP Life Assurance Company’s Telephone Service on 22 April 2024 and for Pohjola Insurance’s Telephone Service on 25 April 2024. You can identify yourself in the same way as when you call OP’s Telephone Service to discuss banking-related matters.

Identification will initially be possible when using these service numbers:

  • 010 253 6100 OP Life Assurance Company
  • 0303 0303 Pohjola Insurance’s insurance and claims settlement services
  • 0100 5335 Pohjola Insurance’s insurance and claims settlement services for statutory insurance
  • 0304 0506 insurance and claims settlement services for commercial transport (A-Insurance services)

Identification will be introduced in stages for other OP Life Assurance Company and Pohjola Insurance service numbers, and for direct 010 numbers to experts.

OP banking customers will be offered the chance to identify themselves when in the call queue, so have your OP user ID ready before you start the call. You will be given identification instructions while queuing. Electronic identification will be possible for both personal and corporate customers, and can also be done during a call.

Identification increases security, particularly when you receive a call about banking or insurance matters.  If you receive a call about insurance from Pohjola Insurance or OP Life Assurance Company, in future you will be able to confirm the call details on OP-mobile or OP Business mobile.
