For owner-customers who use our services extensively

 

We provide the Owner Plus service to OP cooperative bank owner-customers who use a wide range of our banking and insurance services. As an Owner Plus customer, you’ll get the best support in your financial arrangements and service use.

The Owner Plus service is free of charge: you automatically become an Owner Plus customer if your use of OP Financial Group's products and services exceeds a certain limit. You can easily check whether you are an Owner Plus customer.

As an Owner Plus customer, you get unique benefits on top of owner-customer benefits and discounts.

You have your own contact person at your OP cooperative bank to guide and help you with loan matters or saving and investing solutions. Your contact person will also advise you in your finances, including in major changes in life. You can reach your contact person easily from a direct number.

You’ll always be among the first served when you contact us via chat, phone or message.

  1. Fast lane for loan applications

We’ll process your applications for a secured loan, such as a home or car loan, faster than usual. What's more, your loan will be processed by the same OP expert from beginning to end.

You’ll get the OP Gold and OP Duo cards with the featured services at a special package price. Gold provides insurance for daily life and experiences, while Duo’s Best Price Protection ensures that you never pay too much for shopping.

How can I get access to Owner Plus service?

You’re eligible for Owner Plus service if you’re an OP cooperative bank owner-customer and your OP Financial Group products and services are worth at least 150,000 euros, including loans, or your investments in funds and stocks are worth at least 50,000 euros. Please note that the service is free of charge.

In addition, you have at least three of the following:

  1. Daily banking services: current account, OP's payment card and OP's digital services
  2. A loan, such as a home loan or student loan, with OP Financial Group
  3. As investments at least one mutual fund, investment or saving-through-insurance product, excluding Profit Share
  4. You’re a Pohjola Insurance prime customer (to become a prime customer, you need to have insurance policies from three different categories)

Remember that you get the best benefits only as an OP cooperative bank owner-customer

  1. OP bonuses that only owner-customers earn
  2. Considerable discounts on investment services and insurance policies
  3. Daily banking services without monthly charges from 1 October 2023 until 31 December 2024* in the OP cooperative bank whose owner-customer you are

How can I become an Owner Plus customer?

You can get access to the Owner Plus service when you’re an OP cooperative bank owner-customer and your use of services, as described above on this page, entitles you to the service.

Does the Owner Plus service cost anything?

The Owner Plus service is free of charge.

Can I terminate the Owner Plus service?

Please note that the Owner Plus service is a complimentary service. Using the service is entirely voluntary and doesn’t oblige you in any way. The Owner Plus service is discontinued if you terminate your owner-customer membership or after 12 months from no longer meeting the criteria for the service.

For how long do I get access to the Owner Plus service at a time?

You’ll get access to the Owner Plus service for a year (12 months) at a time, and your eligibility for the service will be reviewed annually.

Can a minor get access to the Owner Plus service?

A minor can get access to the Owner Plus service if their use of services, as described above on this page, entitles them to the service. A minor’s personal contact person will usually be the same as their parent’s/parents’.

How do joint loans and deposits count towards entitlement to the Owner Plus service?

​​​​​​​If an account or a loan is in joint names of two persons, the average balance will be included in both person’s volume of service use. For example, if a couple has a 300,000-euro joint home loan, 300,000 euros will be included in both person’s volume of service use, because both borrowers are fully liable for the joint loan. The same principle will be applied to account holders with joint deposits.

Will payment history affect the availability of Owner Plus service?

You’ll get access to the Owner Plus service when your use of services, as described above on this page, entitles you to the service and you’ve also been fulfilling your contractual obligations, such as timely payments to OP.

My contact person’s details aren’t shown on OP-mobile or the op.fi service. How long will it take for me to get own contact person?

In general, your contact person’s details are shown to you at the same time as the Owner Plus service appears on your OP-mobile or when you log into the op.fi service. In some cases, the personal contact person’s details will appear later. This can be due to your OP cooperative bank merging with another OP cooperative bank or a change of specialist at your OP cooperative bank, for example.
