Users can use the service to order and retrieve accounting records of companies they represent. Digital accessibility is regulated by the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services.
Accessibility of the OP Accounting Records Service has been assessed by means of self-assessment and by accessibility experts working for OP on a project basis. The assessment was carried out mainly using the Firefox and Safari web browsers. Chrome and IE browsers were also used to check certain details. The WebAIM WAVE browser extension was used to check conformance with criteria. Screen reader software was tested on MacOS using the VoiceOver screen reader and on Windows using the NVDA screen reader.
This accessibility statement was created on 28 December 2020.
Accessibility of the digital service
The OP Accounting Records Service does not meet all accessibility requirements. However, none of the identified issues prevent using the service for its primary purpose of ordering and retrieving accounting records. Accessibility issues in the service include the following: the site is not fully compatible with all assistive technology, such as screen readers, or the website is not optimised for mobile devices.
Non-accessible content in the digital service (based on WCAG criteria)
Non-accessible content and issues
WCAG 2.4.1 General: The top sections of pages are missing a so-called jump link that allows users to move to the start of the actual content.
WCAG 1.4.4, 1.4.10 General: The service is not fully responsive, and content has not been optimised for mobile devices.
WCAG 2.4.3, 4.1.3 New query: When changing the process step using a screen reader, focus does not automatically move to the new process step.
Accessibility issues that would be a disproportionate burden to fix
The OP Accounting Records Service will undergo further development in 2021. Current accessibility issues in the service will be addressed at that time.
