Accessibility statement for OP Remote Meeting Service

This statement concerns the accessibility of OP Remote Meeting Service. The service is part of op.fi, which is the website for OP Financial Group companies.

This accessibility statement was prepared on 30 March 2022 and last updated 9 February 2024.

Accessibility of the digital service 


OP Remote Meeting Service does not meet all accessibility requirements. 
A professional assessment of the service’s accessibility on 30 March 2022 found shortcomings in 13 of the Level AA criteria of the WCAG 2.1 standard, with 38% of the observations categorised as very high or critical in severity. 
In the event that accessibility barriers prevent the use of an electronic signature, the document can be printed and signed at a bank branch.

Login 

Field labels: Programmatic labels are missing from the login fields. (WCAG 1.3.1) 
Error messages: Error messages have not been added to the fields programmatically, and they are not read automatically. Screen reader users do not receive feedback if there is an error in submitting the form. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.3, 4.1.3) 
Quality of the HTML code: The same ID is used in two fields of the login form. (WCAG 4.1.1) 

Voting 

Answer alternatives: There are shortcomings in the programmatic grouping and role determination of the answer alternatives. The groups have not been named programmatically, and the answer alternatives have no programmatic labels. (WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.2) 
Keyboard accessibility: checkboxes cannot be used with a keyboard. The keyboard focus is not visible on the selection buttons. (WCAG 2.1.1, 2.4.7) 
Focus order: When you select an answer alternative with a screen reader and continue with the tab key, the focus will move to the start of the page. (WCAG 2.4.3, 3.2.2) 
Feedback: The screen reader does not automatically read feedback on voting. (WCAG 4.1.3) 
Error messages: Error messages are not read automatically. They are not connected to the groups programmatically, and they are after the voting button in the reading sequence. (WCAG 4.1.3, 1.3.1, 1.3.2) 
Identification: Feedback on identifying for voting is not read automatically. (WCAG 4.1.3) 

Alternative service channel 

OP Remote Meeting Service allows remote participation in the Cooperative and Representative Assembly meetings of OP cooperative banks. It is also possible to attend these meetings in person, without a remote connection.

Feedback and processing of personal data

If you haven’t logged in and you don’t enter your contact details, your feedback will be anonymous. A non-logged-in customer may provide their name and email address or phone number if they request us to contact them. We will store information about logged-in customers in our feedback system, including the name and personal identity code of the customer or company representative and the name of the OP cooperative bank whose customer the person providing feedback is. For corporate customers, we also store the company’s name and business ID. If a logged-in customer requests us to contact them, we will also store their phone number or email address. Other details that we will store in our feedback system include the customer’s feedback and the details provided by the customer about the auxiliary program or device they are using.

We will use the stored personal data only in feedback processing, to improve customer experience and OP Financial Group’s services. The personal data is processed in OP Financial Group financial institutions’ customer data files.
