Updating information for the bank

In case any changes take place in the association, please also notify the bank of them.

An authorised signatory for the association can update such changes on the op.fi service

In case the association’s board of directors changes, please notify us of the members of the new board of directors. The authorised signatory for the association can give notice of changes on the op.fi service. You can identify yourself with any bank’s user identifiers.

Update your association’s information

You can also notify of changes by calling our Customer Service at 0100 05151. When you call our Customer Service, we can make the changes you have requested if we are able to identify you electronically. You need your personal OP user ID to identify yourself.

Please remember to update changes in the Finnish Register of Associations too.

Why do we need information on members of the board of directors?

We as a bank have a statutory obligation to know our customers. Legislation is aimed at preventing money laundering and preventing financial international crime.

It’s therefore important for the bank to have up-to-date KYC information on your association.

When does the bank need to review the minutes before approving a change?

If the association applies, for example, for a loan or buy investment products, we’ll need the minutes of the meeting of the association’s board of directors to make the changes. The changes to be made must be explicitly mentioned in the minutes.

Please also check the signatures on the minutes: if the minutes are required, they must be signed by the chair of the meeting and two examiners of the minutes.

No minutes are required for matters related to normal payment transactions, such as changes to access rights, in bank connection authorisation, card application and notification of card spending and withdrawal limits.
