You should make sure that you are not left without your own health insurance if your health was previously insured by your employer.

After a hectic life of work, many fantasise about fulfilling their dreams and travel. You may also travel to your loved ones more. We recommend travel insurance to cover yourself and your luggage when you are away from home.

A Health Advisor assesses your need for treatment, gives you self-care instructions or refers you to a doctor, and schedules an appointment for you. A Health Advisor can also give you a claim settlement decision, in which case you don’t have to report a loss yourself.

You should regularly check that your home insurance is up to date. If you travel more than 50 kilometres away to see your loved ones, for example, you should add domestic trips to continuous travel insurance. When you cover your travels with continuous travel insurance, the insurance policy will always be valid when you set off on a journey. We can grant continuous travel insurance for people up to the age of 99, and it ends when you turn 100.

If you travel once or even less per year, fixed-term travel insurance is the right choice for you. We can grant fixed-term travel insurance for people up to the age of 85, and it ends when you turn 86. Did you know that with fixed-term travel insurance, children under the age of 15 are covered by the grandparent’s insurance policy if they are travelling together?

Remember to add luggage insurance to your continuous or fixed-term travel insurance. Luggage insurance covers all items you have taken with you. For example, we compensate you if your glasses are broken, your wallet is stolen, or your luggage is delayed.

Can I get discounts on insurance?

You become a prime customer when you have insurance policies in at least three categories. As an owner-customer, you have many great benefits such as a 250-euro deductible benefit for Pohjola Home Insurance applicable to fire and natural phenomenon loss and crime.

You can check your insurance details on the service when you log in to the service with OP's or another bank's credentials. There, you can take care of your insurance matters such as changing your insurance policies, updating your contact details, changing your account number or reporting a loss. You can report a loss directly from the link below. If you are using OP-mobile, you can also use the app to report a loss.

Please note that you don’t need to attach any receipt or supporting documents unless the loss report specifically requires them. Once we have received the loss report, we will ask for additional information if required and contact you about the claim settlement decision.
