OP-Bond Yield Fund
On 9 October 2025, OP Fund Management Company Ltd's Board of Directors decided on a merger of the OP-Bond Prima fundwith the OP-Bond Yield fund. On 23 October 2025, the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority gave approval for the merger that will be implemented on 11 December 2025. In the merger, the name of the acquiring fund will be changed to OP-Europe Bond fund.
The OP-Bond Yield fund allows you to invest broadly in government bond markets in the euro area. The fund invests especially on government bonds issued by the largest economies of the region – France, Italy, Germany, and Spain – and offers the possibility of moderate additional returns with a moderate risk typical of government bonds.
OP-Bond Yield is an actively managed long-term bond fund consisting mostly of fixed-rated bonds. The fund's experienced portfolio managers seek to identify attractive investments in terms of credit risk within the eurozone. Investment decisions are based on the demand and supply factors of government bonds and macroeconomic analysis. Investments are usually fixed rate and long-term, so changes in market interest rates have a significant impact on the fund's performance.
Sustainability factors guide the fund's investment decisions. OP-Bond Yield excludes countries that have connections to money laundering and terrorist financing, for example. Investment decisions also take into consideration countries' level of greenhouse gas emissions, income disparity, corruption, and realisation of fundamental rights.
