Try OP's online financing service

If you have a one-off loan or Overdraft Facility, you can see your financing information on OP's online financing service (in Finnish). You can also apply for a change in the amount of your monthly repayment or your bill's due date. You can log into the service with your personal online banking user identifiers issued by any Finnish bank or with a Mobile ID.

My details and access rights

You can change your email address and phone number on OP's online financing service or by sending a message to kuluttajarahoitus@op.fi or calling our Customer Service at 010 252 5811.

The account holders named in the agreement have access rights to the Overdraft Facility. It is also possible to give a person access rights to the Overdraft Facility on OP's online financing service

If you are the only account holder

You can add or remove access rights to OP Overdraft Facility by using OP's online financing service.

To give access rights to someone, you need their name and personal identity code. When giving a person access rights, you also define for how long the access rights will be in force.

After you have given the access rights, ask the person in question to login to the online service of OP Financing and approve their access rights there. After that, the person with access rights can use the account.

If there are two account holders

Access rights to OP Overdraft Facility are added in a vendor store where both account holders need to prove their identity.

You can remove access rights to OP Overdraft Facility in a vendor store or by calling our customer service at 010 252 5811.

Billing

You will be billed about two weeks before the due date. The agreement may contain repayment holidays on interest, fees and loan repayments. In these cases, the bill is sent after the repayment holiday is over.

The bill includes the items “buyer’s outstanding balance”, which states the entire outstanding loan as of the due date, and the alternative minimum monthly instalment. If you wish, you can pay a larger sum than the minimum instalment in order to reduce the repayment time.

You will find your agreement's payment details on OP's online financing service after the agreement has entered into force.

The first bill you receive is always interest-free with an interest rate of 0%. The interest rate on your loan is stated in the financing agreement and bill (excluding the first bill).

You can order an e-invoice in your online bank:

  • If you are an OP banking customer, see the instructions on how to order an e-invoice here
  • If you are not an OP banking customer, you can order an e-invoice from your own online bank

Please note that only the principal debtor can order an e-invoice. You can order an e-invoice on behalf of the principal debtor only if you are an account holder or have broad access rights to the account. When ordering an e-invoice, select OP Corporate Bank Plc as the payee and Sales Finance - Overdraft Facility as the subject of invoice.

If you were billed before the service you purchased was delivered, contact the seller. The seller will contact OP on your behalf.
Bills are sent monthly as paper invoices or e-invoices. E-invoices must always be ordered separately in your own online bank.
If you have not received a bill or are having trouble understanding it, please call our customer service at +358 10 252 5811

If you originally applied for OP Overdraft Facility via a vendor store, you can apply for an increase in it through an application channel that you will find in the vendor store's online service. In the service, select 'I am applying for a credit limit raise' and submit the application for a new total credit amount.

If you are using OP Overdraft Facility online as a payment option offered by a payment service provider, you can apply for an increase here: Apply for an increase in the credit limit of OP Overdraft Facility

You can always pay a larger monthly instalment than you initially agreed. If you want to lower the repayment amount or change the due date, contact our customer service at +358 10 252 5811

Grace period and lowering the monthly instalment

You get two grace months for your OP One-off Loan or OP Overdraft Facility per calendar year.

You can take a grace month if your bill has not yet fallen due for payment. You can’t use grace months during an interest-free period or a repayment holiday. Please note that the grace months may not be consecutive months. If you want to use a grace period, contact our Customer Service at 010 252 5811.

If you are having temporary financial difficulties, you can apply to lower your monthly instalment temporarily on OP's online financing service. Please note that in an Overdraft Facility, lowering the monthly instalment will cause the account to be frozen. You can ask our Customer Service to reopen the Overdraft Facility once the monthly instalment is restored to the normal amount.

You can apply for a change in the repayment plan for compelling reasons, such as a significant decrease in your repayment capacity or a serious illness. You can file an application on OP's online financing service. If needed, contact our Customer Service at 010 252 5811.

During a grace month, you don't receive a bill. The loan interest and charges will be billed in the following month’s instalment. You are entitled to two grace months for your OP One-off Loan or OP Overdraft Facility per calendar year. Please note that the grace months may not be consecutive months. To ask for a grace month, call our Customer Service at 010 252 5811.

During a repayment holiday, you only pay interest and charges. The bill does not include a repayment of the loan principal.

We process applications within about two weeks.

Complaints and deductions

If you wish to make a complaint about a financed contract or product, contact the seller or retailer.
When filing a complaint, first contact the seller or retailer and then OP. Inform us that you are making a complaint. We recommend that you pay the instalment normally regardless of the complaint. The seller or retailer may refund the agreed sum in the event of a complaint.
The seller will provide you with a receipt you can use to apply for a tax credit. If you have not received a receipt, contact the seller.
Contact the retailer in matters related to warranty.

Loan interest payments are no longer tax deductible, starting from 1 January 2023.

Problems and terminating the agreement

A sales financing agreement (one-off loan) is terminated once the loan is repaid in full. Check the total amount outstanding on OP's online financing service and pay the loan off after that. Use the reference number on your bill to pay off the outstanding balance.

Overdraft Facility is free of charge if the credit has no billable transactions. If you want to terminate the credit, send us a message of termination from OP's online financing service with subject "Muu asiakkuuteen liittyvä aihe" (Other subject related to customer relationship). After we have processed the termination of your credit, its information is no longer shown in OP's online financing service. The termination of the credit agreement will be updated to the Positive Credit Register within a few days.

You can apply for a change for compelling reasons, such as a significant decrease in your repayment capacity or a serious illness. You can file an application on OP's online financing service. If needed, contact our Customer Service at 010 252 5811.
